The Mill City Grinders Twin Cities Acoustic Bluegrass and old time music band, fearturing occasional Fat Chance member Adam Kiesling

The Front Porch Swingin' Liquor Pigs
one of our sometimes fiddle players and dogwalker,
Uncle John Moline's bands. "Pre-WWII blues and hokum, some irreverent gospel, healthy shots of goofball rockabilly and country, plus a few originals that could be drunken outtakes from Dylan's Desire album" is what one write-up sez. All of us had spent many an hour at the old Viking Fridays when they played.

The Ditch Lilies   Kari, Lisa, Julie and Meghan do up a swell show every time. One of your favorites and I'm sure they're one of ours.

Bill Hinkley and Judy Larson  don't really have a home page yet, so this MN Folk Arts page will have to do for now. Judy is now (sort of) a movie star!

Slipped-a-Mickey the on-again off-again jugband is back on, and was the runner-up at the Duluth Battle, 2007.

The Geezers Jug Band. They took home the Coveted Waffle Iron in 2004.

The Brandysnifter's official website
A wonderful old-timey string band. They've been getting
together every week or so just like we do--but they've
been doing it for 40 years...Don't miss the sound clips of Libba Cotten and Rev. Blind Gary Davis arguning in the living room!

Unfortunately it appears that this site no longer is available
We go international when our Japanese fans give us a
glowing writeup that we can't read.
Great if you speak Japanese, I would guess.

Tubtonia has links for bands with tubs and some great wild washtub bass designs

The KFAI Pages  This is our local community radio station. Poke around a little and enjoy. Find out who's on before us on the Jackson's Juke Joint segment of Harold's House Party! Try to decipher Dakota Dave Hull's mind! You can even audio stream programing as well as archives.

The 10th Annual Duluth Battle   Story and a few photos (of the Geezers) from the Duluth News-Tribune.

Honey Where You Been So Long?
Nice site for lyrics and stories about prewar blues singers. The site is constantly updated every day of the working week and the files are up for a limited time only.

Spider John Koerner's Official Website He once told Al, "legendary is just another word for broke..."

Jug Band Videos    From the "You Tube" site. Everything from the 30s with Whistler's Jug Band, early 60s Jim Kweskin and contemporary videos featuring the likes of South Austin Jug Band. Pretty hurky-jerky on dialup, but you can get the idea; works fine on DSL or other high-speed internet.
